I have never figured out why AE has always been so Oxford heavy. Derbies just seem to come and go. Except for the Staple MacNeil Blucher.

The classic AE leather insole has turned me against most other brands. I am against lots of padding with a leather cover. Here is a $495 slipon that I will convert to a leather cupped 3/4 insole.

I hope Shoebank will update their lasts. They still have the 000 listed, although I've never once seen a shoe in any size available on that last. More importantly, many of the newer lasts are still not listed such as the 42 or the 64.
