I'm stupid. Really stupid. Like, epically stupid. I'm broke and on shoe buying hiatus and OF COURSE I got a bit bored at work today and checked out ShoeBank. They've got a few crazy-good prices going on right now.

$97
Black suede Caen
Nomad bucks and chukkas in all colors and leathers

$147
Normandy
Golden CXL Longbranch
Merlot 5th Avenue

$197
Brown Suede Liverpool
Merlot Hopkinson

Time to just walk away. I don't need any of these. None at all. Nope. None.

I really like the flat tan laces that came with my natty higgins. I kind of enjoy the look and don't mind taking the extra time to get them laying flat and eliminate twisting.
I'd actually like to replace them with the exact same thing, but AE doesn't seem to stock them.
I agree it’s a good look. A couple of times I’ve really taken my time to lace them slowly, get them all done and realize there’s one twist all the way on the 2nd eyelet. I don’t have much patience, perhaps it’s my age.

Great deals, but I have an acquisition strategy now!

If anyone is feeling remorse for not getting a bourbon strand in size 9.5D there is one on B&S (also listed on ebay). Only $200 over retail....

Yea, that is up there with Dublin in my view.

Just of note. Yesterday I needed more space on my boot rack and had to decide between OG HM and Tumbled.
I like both but the CXL OG made the cut and the tumbled Mills was relegated to basement storage.

If I were choosing between that Stead calf and CXL, it may have gone the other way.

I haven’t gotten a chance to post my shell pick-ups.

My SA has them shipped to the store so I can see them before I sent them home. An old habit to make sure I like the fit.

I took advantage of dropping off a pair of Merlot PA’s to be sent out for recrafting and wore the HM’s home about a week ago. The Strands showed up earlier this week.
