You might keep the shaft a bit less snug for a while until they're broken in.

Will be interested to see your results. Please post!
    You should more often!

Or, do not lace all the way up for a few wears. The stiffer the shaft the more likely I will lace less - have a pair of double thick material Rancourt boots and that helped for the first 5 wears, now they flex where they should and I can lace em up.

Whenever Woodlore offers 50% off trees, I always purchase enough to get free shipping.

This sounds like the exact same dynamic in my household. I still haven’t lived down the time my wife and her best friend walked in on my brushing my suede McAllisters with that tiny AE nylon suede brush. They laugh about it every time she gets together with us. Oh, the shame...

Thank God she has never caught me in the act of photographing my footwear.

    Great shine on those!

I agree with everyone about the epic ness of the Woodlore Epic trees. Best product on the market, IMO. Just a warning that they run a half size to a full size small relative to AE trees.

I’ve been waiting for Woodlore to have a BOGO as I need several. I’ll have to check out Nordstrom rack.

First wear for the macneil’s. Pediatrics office carpet. I always get the apps when it’s a minor holiday.

Very smart to load up on brown! Too bad Dundee isn’t a good fit. MacNeil is a classic for sure though.

I'm cheap so I don't get the woodlore ones, I get the bulk purchase on amazon which is 6 pairs for $100 bringing it in as the lowest total I can find that style at. If I find them cheaper elsewhere I'll get them. I like that they fill out more of the shoe. I have the split ones and solid ones from AE but slowly they get phased out.

That’s actually not a bad idea, don’t know why I didn’t think of that. I’ll try wearing them during the week during office hours to break them in since I’ll just do some casual walking.

Woodlore has gone 50% off before? Most I’ve seen is 30% off. I was expecting them to do that for Thanksgiving or Christmas, but never saw them go on sale.

My apologies, I misspoke. Woodlore actually offered BOGO free.

I think I'm close to that.
    Shouldn't it be
n - 1 where n = the number of shoes you own? No extra while you're wearing one pair.
