These will get some good use. I need to put my brown on brown PUMA Ligas out to pasture. I’ve almost worn through the bottoms. It’s a pity because the uppers still look pretty good.

I think that these Acorn Caens pair well with heavy texture — like asphalt.

Not the first US company to not conform to shoe style standards. I think all US companies make no distinction between Derby and Blucher. I just got to roll with it.

You certainly described the attributes of many "traditional" chukkas, such as the MDxAE and Dundees. However, I think Alden and some others use the mid ankle height as the determiner for chukka status. Alden makes 2 eyelet chukkas, but they characterize these as "6 eyelet" chukkas. Otherwise, the nomenclature falls apart. Do you call it a short boot or a tall shoe? Alden of Carmel lists 6 chukkas, 5 of which are 6 eyelets and only 1 with 2 eyelets. For me, I am comfortable with the term and I use it equally between my 4 pairs: two of which are 6 eyelets and the other 2 are "traditional." And don't even get me started on George boots.

Non-AE shell boots for wingtip Wednesday. I have had these for a while breaking them in at home, but inaugural wear on these today. Normally I would spoiler non-AE, but pretty excited about these (Alden cigar shell). Have a good rest of the day forum friends!

Here are some Allen Edmonds shoes. Because this is the Allen Edmonds thread.

Trunk show MTO natty Dundee’s, now prefaced by the day of their birth. Much patina, like greatly.
