    And as one gets older, one tends to get shorter, I need 33" inseam max with no cuff, so these at 36 are just crazy long. I wonder if one can shrink them in length, but not waist, as it is fine just like their fitting guide said.

    I guess that was part of the Black Friday Mystery as there was no packing list with the jeans, just crammed into a USPS envelope. I haven't measured them, but they said straight fit on the little tiny tag inside.

    I may be ignorant, but what would that have to do with length of inseam and cuffing?

    not relevant to length/cuffing, is relevant to how they fit over boots

    I don't know which Strandmok it is, but I've tried one of those on at Nordstrom Rack back in 2016. They fit incredibly tight in 8 E, which was odd. Felt like I put my foot in a tight hammock.

    That's really interesting, because these are sz. 8E too.

    These actually have a flat welt, sorry for the grainy indoors picture quality.
