Love, love, love, love, love this version of the Eagle County. I wish I'd been into AEs when these were available, I would be wearing the bejesus out of them regularly. Of course, given my lifestyle, they'd probably be stained beyond recognition with some unholy combination of beer/urine/guacamole/blood/Arby's sauce/motor oil/tears of my enemies.

In other words, they'd be beyond awesome.

I've really let mine go, and they are all the more awesome for it.

Stirling boots...is it true you need to size way down? I’m about a 10e in the 65 last (except a D with my strandmok’s that seem slightly wider.)

I’m torn on those or the Leeds 2.0 for my next acquisition.

Tried on Stirlings in an outlet a while back and they were TTS for me.

Your strandmok is D because they're unlined. :)

Yeah, that's how I'd probably have mine at this point. But, with the aforementioned stains. Those boots just demand to be lived in. If someone saw them sitting by my back door, I'd want them to wonder about all the places I'd gone in them, the things they'd seen.

My Higgins Mills are on their way there. But, no stains, yet. I think I'd feel guilty if I got something really bad on them.

Salutations, fellow enthusiasts. Warm again. Usual Tommy Hilfiger chinos, Lands’ End madras shirt, my $0 Remo Tulliani natural CXL belt and AE natural CXL Oak Streets. Trying to resist the urge to supplement my spring/summer gear. Not sure how long I’ll be able to hold out.

Makes sense, thanks. A lot of people say they’re big...they’re only available in D so I’m wondering if similar size to my Strandmok would work.

Unfortunately the two shoes I’m looking at are clearance and not available in store.

I'm 9.5E in 65, and 9.5D Stirlings fit me well. Size down would be too short for me.

Dear weasels, ferrets, polecats and other mustelae,

Please advise
Is there a preferred brand or type of tongue pad, or is a tongue pad a tongue pad?
