I’ll never live this down, will I? Lol
And the only
Everyone who would even notice are all on this forum! 99.9% of the population at large won’t even notice or if they do will think “those are nice shoes”. Wear whatever you want is what I say.

I practically live in the Oakbrook store. Most of the SA’s have measured me at a 9C. But that size is rarely best for me. My toes are so short or the heel to ball measurement is a whole size different. So a 9C, although is roomy enough, I end up with diagonal creasing. A sign that the shoe is too short. In the 65 last I own shoes in a 10B, 9.5B, and 9.5C. 511 Last 9.5D and 9C. The list just goes on. Interestingly enough new SA’s will measure me and come to the conclusion that 8.5D will work. They never do.
Is 8.5 D their eternal Magic 8 Ball answer? My brother and I went to the downtown Milwaukee store and the SA proclaimed us both 8.5D. The thing is,though I’m generally fitting in 8.5 d to 9c,my brother fits in 10d most times—I got nothin!

Just might be the size they have in the back.

You would live it down if not for the Lobster pants et al-lol! Actually I’m one of few around here who agree with you about walnut/navy!
I've got no problem with it, but I recognize it as more casual and flashy. Up until more recently is have done this way before walnut with grey.

You don’t need to. You have fury style. A class by itself. When you post entire ensemble it always looks good.

Late night coffee. This pair gets the most compliments bar none. The only thing I have that is close is my blue and yellow Neumok. Those get compliments and eye rolling.

Haven't been here in about a year. Don't think I added anything in 2017, as my Shell budget didn't miraculously appear, so I'm still living on 14 pairs. Hope everyone is well.

All,

I am looking for 5-6 pairs of dressy business casual shoes -- shoes to be worn with cuffed wool trousers or khakis, a button-down shirt, and BB-esque sportcoat, no tie. This is for a fairly stuffy business environment. Which AE (or non-AE) shoes would you recommend?

I like @Count de Monet ‘s recommendations. My pics:

1. Longwing in burgundy shell
2. PTB or Chukka in burg/brown shell
3. Loafer in burg/brown shell
4. Suede brogue like snuff Strand
5. Wingtip bal similar to Cambridge, Jefferson
6. Split toe. I prefer Bradley

No blacks and snuff would be the lightest I would go with brown.

If you need a boot, first avenue in brown calf or brown grain.
