I was out in some real cold weather today in NJ, so wearing

flannel lined khakis and shearling lined First Aves, tonight on the couch.

I really like the shearling. It is 930pm, have been home for hours, just did not bother taking these off. They are incredibly soft and surprisingly not overheating my feet as I've been tinkering around the house.

They don't get many wears in a years time, but I would love a second shearling pair in some other variation.

And once again, a football-like grain material gets playing time at uberbowl time.

Obviously a very different aesthetic, but I have some shearling-lined Bean boots and they are amazing.

Ok so since @Lobster33 told me about these I just had to check it out. Here is what they look like live. :)

Do they seem a bit purple to you?

I must say that post is the reason why I am staying away from those colored AEs and frankly I'm sorta scared to buy even brown ones. Shoes come off a lot in S. Florida and while I know its from the shoe, that is not particularly appealing to be walking around in someones house with your feet covered in dye. Do they make any that don't do this? Sperry gold cups are lined and never give me this issue.

I don't think its a problem on lined shoes. The Cornwallis should be OK.

Oh wow, Texas -- you already have the new blue Strand?

It could just be the screen monitor, but it does appear a bit purple-ish to my eyes. Would love to see what they look like in the sun.

Anyone on here a 11.5 EEE? I know where I can get a brand new Walnut Shell Dalton.

Interesting experience today.

Ordered a Cole Haan belt online. I have had some pretty good casual belts from CH. while we can agree their shoes are massively overpriced, getting a CH belt on clearance can be a good deal.

Took forever to arrive. Got it today. This is their takeoff on the Manistee. It looked kinda chalky and had a weird texture upon inspection it said "man made material". It is not even leather!!! What the hell??

Makes you appreciate AE when you realize what others are doing.

They look very purple - is that the new blue Strand? I think the Midnight Navy Strand might be more my style, and plan to go to a store and take a look at a pair.

Come on, Pep. Filmed in Central Texas!

office space.

i may have missed it but what in the world are those boots in your avatar?  my avatar applies.....

Two days late, but thanks! Dunno how I could have forgotten, being a yuuuge Mike Judge fanboy (gonna proudly drop here that TJ Miller was at one of my shows recently wearing jewel-encrusted sneakers).

Yes, they are a Vass MTO double monk chukka boot in museum calf. quite definitely the dandiest shoes I own. Well, I have some plum colored medallion chukkas from Enzo Bonafe that come close. And there's also my AE blue suede McAllisters with contrast stitching.

Damn.

Also looks like neumok leather to me. Not calfskin.

Got a pair of shoes recrafted and received a $50 off regularly priced shoes coupon. Won't use it, so hopefully someone else can.

Please post if you claim it so others won't try.
