You do realize those are cowboy boots, right?

That doesn't make it look good. This is Sacramento. He's not herding cattle, he's walking on an airplane.

They slip on and off fairly easily (TSA BS), and given a decent marque can be extremely comfortable. If it's what he wants to wear so be it. ;)

For the record I'd never be caught dead in cowboy boots, but if it's his thing it's his thing.

Haha, for sure. To each their own. I just think this particular squared toe is... a lot.

On that there is absolutely no disagreement. ;)

But, with some cowboy boots, that's just the style. Maybe he listens to that lady antebellum or whatever it is the kids like these days.

being one of those fellows who does own a couple pair of "cowboy" boots (we call them Western boots more often than not) that is indeed a wide square toe.

A cowboy boot has a slightly different look and definitely a specific kind of heel. (at least around here)

Medium brown seems good for bourbon; I went black and neutral. Black for the PA's and neutral for.....pretty much everything else. :hide:

Genesis. Leylands started me down this path. They may be getting on in years, have their scars (sheet metal **** the toe), but they will stay in rotation for years to come I hope. Though I've been meaning to make them just weekend shoes, they end up being worn during the week anyway

My other shoes must be jealous b/c the universities (w/Dainite!) got the call again 2day. 2X in one week! A lot of rain this week. At least they got 2 rest days w/trees, of course.
