1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

...in Olive and Tan. I'm going that is the Neumok/Strandmok olive and not the Shannon Drive olive (which is fine but have regretted not getting the Strandmok in Olive)

Will probably be listing I have listed my Shannon Drives as result (11.5D)

That pair has been coming up in my weekly(ish) search for a very long time. I'd be all over them too, but I'm also not going to order anything from Russia.

Damn this habit... I just can't stop myself... am I crazy.

Been wanting to add some more color to my collection and seen some of the post about the shoebank sale, and then the shoebank has been sending me emails, and then the email that today is the last day. Resisting, resisting oh no I did a search to see what was in my size and yup some Navy Cornwallis in my size. Trying to close the browser window, can't do it, ok let me just do something else, damn that tab is calling me, ok let me just call the shoebank and ask how they look, that can't hurt right, ring ring, answer, ask, hold, oh they look totally awesome you will love them, ok can't take it I'm sold here is my CC number...the rest is history.

So there you have it I could not resist and ordered the Navy Cornwallis, thank God they did not have them in grey too.

I doubt anyone is going to buy them at that price. Too much risk involved.

Please excuse the duplication for those who have seen this before. 007Bond, you are relatively new to the forum and are expressing the same sentiments others have voiced. To that end, it feels like time to repeat something I wrote many months ago.

    How did it start?

I don’t know how it started. I really can’t recall.
I remember needing new dress shoes so I headed for the mall.
“Sneakers” were everywhere. No quality could I see.
That’s when the salesman said, “You should check out A and E.”

Chili Bentons were the first pair and I was sure that would do.
Then I bought a pair in black and suddenly I had two.
“I work hard and I deserve them.” What harm could there be?
I found some Regent Streets on Ebay and suddenly I had three.

I don’t really like odd numbers and black Byrons made it four.
My wife was starting to purse her lips, but really, “What’s one more?”
Black Winhalls made it five and Mapletons made it six
“Damn I have a lot of black” but it was a "problem" I could fix.

The compliments were rolling in and my friends said I looked great.
But the Chester’s and Fairfax arrived and I was up to eight.
“Not another pair I’ll buy, I will never shop again!”
But it was then I counted spaces in my shoe bag and saw that it held ten.

I bought Park Avenue and Fairgate, Shreveport and many other shoes.
I filled my first hanging bag and now I have filled two.
I should have thought about what I was doing and purchased carefully.
Because then I started counting and found I had twenty-three.

I’ve now sold some pairs, put away the card, and thought I was doing well.
But then came vintage long wings, in rich patina shell.
I’ve now discovered Alden’s Barrie last and cordovan still calls my name.
My wallet will recover but my marriage will never be the same.

So tread lightly friend and enjoy your wife while she's there.
Because tomorrow is another day and there's always another pair.

Im thinking you know you have a problem when UPS says package delivered, you go and look up its origin, see that its from AE and you have to think about what it could be that is headed your way... There are up to 5 different pairs it could be. Though I THINK it is my replacement jingle bell moks.

PSA: don't be weirded out when you get a like from me from a post that was weeks ago. I did more reading than liking getting caught up but now it's gonna be an Oprah like session for me tonight.

I did that myself. I am always experimenting with laces.

As you've noticed both mine are blue. I think it brings out the blue in the shoes that are otherwise black.[IMG]

For me it's the Sauk Drives. Probably because the "russet brown" is so red and attention-grabbing.

I was supposed to go to a funeral today, but the funeral ended up not happening (sad story). I spent most of the morning in a boardroom though, so black Boardrooms were appropriate either way:

I have a question that maybe all could answer....

I have a pair of Boone's that are the lighter shade (sand) color. Would these be considered as warm weather shoes or can they be worn year round?

    Thanks for posting smfdoc.

I looked up shoeaholic "a condition in which an individual owns more than 60 pairs of shoes"

Thank god I am not a shoeaholic or I would really be worried.
