Was the trainer from out of town? What's the weather like? I mean crappy shoes OK sure, thats bad (though all too common). Same shoes? Heck yeah. I wore the same Walnut Leeds three days on training since that is all I could carry in the carry on. Was traveling in heavy winter boots and there's no way I'd wear those inside all day.

The way I took that when I replied was that two days in a row was a habit for the trainer. Of course there are exceptions, such as business travel. Sometimes it can't be avoided.

I'm right there with you. I purchased 4 pairs yesterday alone. My Brown Carlyles and Brown McAllisters will be here in 10 days.

My apologies for the above. Also, I did not realize that V was proprietary.

Thanks for relaying your experience Buster...it saddens me to hear that your experience with crepe has been less than ideal...because it doesn't bode well for those of us who are interested in giving crepe soles a chance...but I whole heartedly agree that the white sole would've worked well...

it's ironic because my first choice for my next casual shoe was the Strandmok 2.0 in blue suede, precisely for this reason...the white works well on casual shoes...but then I started thinking that it would come too close to looking like a full fledge sneaker...so once the Newberg came out, as a dub-monk fan, I was thrilled until I learned that they mightve botched it up with a crepe sole...but at this point, I'm willing to take the risk, because I really like the rest of the shoe...but if I get it and can't get past the crepe, theyre going right back, in exchange for some variant of the strandmok.

Same. I'm absolutely in love with my oxblood strands. Such a sexy color. Your next pair should be Daltons in oxblood... And then any other pair in oxblood :)

Probably my next purchase. Love the color - so versatile.

Not sure how often oxblood Strand goes on sale on shoebank though.

@mreams99 Quite a range...tell me something - did you have to size up in the I90 compared to the others?

I went to a high end shoe store and the gent there measured me to be 8.5. However, looking down, I saw that my toes ended at around 9. The results were interesting because I have never worn shoes less than 9, although most of my shoes were around 9.5 and 10, with sneakers sometimes at 10.5 or 11.

The PA were snug around the pinky toe, and I can feel that both the length and width were lacking in 9.5D. Actually, I tried a 10D again today with socks that are slightly thicker than dress socks, similar to athletic socks but definitely not medium thickness socks. Anyway, fit was good although a bit more width would be perfect.

I went with my normal 13B in the I90. The left shoe feels like it could be almost too short, but I think it will be OK. (That's my bigger foot.)

Yep! I'd brag - Their color is gorgeous.

Awesome choices. I really like the Norwich in your photo.

I always used to see a brown shell pair available on Shoebank in my size, but never bit.

    One more picture....
I didn't have a belt that matched my bourbon Strands quite as well as I wanted. I found this belt by Torino online and thought it might work. It arrived this week and I'd say it's a pretty good match.

Just got my first AE Park Avenue. Usually, the first thing I would do before wearing leather soled shoes is to put on the TOPY protector. However, the sales lady at my store (not AE store) suggested I wear the AE for at least 3 months before putting TOPY on. So when is the best time to install TOPY actually?

Maybe it's the lighting, but the belt looks chili and the shoes look bourbon? Or is it just me...
