If anyone wants a midnight navy shoe, order before tomorrow evening. They are getting a bunch of orders and running out of leather.

Tan country grain first ave boots today. This is my second time wearing them and I'm pleasantly surprised at the lack of break in period.

I own those. Ironically enough, I was speaking of them to the SA's at Paramus today.

With a mix of attire, I'd suggest getting one shoe that is open/blucher lacing to go with the closed lacing styles of the Strand and Cornwalis. The Leeds and Yorktown are two good examples.
I would suggest one black shoe (no more). The other two could be a mix of chili, brown, or oxblood (burgundy/merlot).

Oxblood or Chili Strands are more versatile. The Cornwallis is hard to dress down from a suit. The Strand looks good with a suit or odd jacket combo. The Cornwallis is too formal for chinos.

I have a pair of the Morgan's in their dark red, and love 'em.

FWIW, the SA I spoke too emphasized that the blue is pretty dark. I ordered a pair, it's my birthday.

edit to add: it also sounds like this is a trial run to test demand. Maybe this color will get added to the regular stable.

I was told it was because of high demand for the midnight blue and the limited quantity of leather. I believe the other sale items will persist for the time being.

If you have to wear suits regularly, I would suggest a black Park Avenue. It is more serious shoe you can wear; it goes best with gray suits, and on your dressiest occasions like church weddings, funerals, and job interviews. The Cornwallis is a formal shoe, but I think of it as "party formal," rather than "serious formal" -- like something you would wear to a dressy restaurant or perhaps to a wedding, but less so to a business meeting. I think that a lot of older people, manager/partner/senior VP-level people often view overly styled clothes on younger professionals as a sign of immaturity. I would then get the Strand and Cornwallis is more fun colors and wear them with your business casual and casual clothes.

The walnut Strand is particularly popular in this forum, but I think it also looks spectacular in oxblood, especially with sportcoats and chinos. If you are looking for a shoe to wear out at night, a black Cornwallis will gleam really well at a nightclub or bar; if you're looking for something more versatile and/or to wear during the day, I would suggest dark brown.

No surprise. You combine one of the most popular shoes with a badass color. When they do this with another shoe I like, I'm in.
