Thanks for that! The Magic Eraser is a great idea! I asked here about shoe-trees last year, and was told they didn't do much in a non-welted shoe, so I didn't bother. I'll get a couple more pairs of trees.

Ya, I think the tress really help prevent the creases, even in CXL.

Here is a picture of mine. I bought these over a year ago, have worn at least 75 times (in grass, city, and even beach). I also always wear them barefoot. Think they have held up really well with a cleaning every 6 weeks or so. Ignore the spots on the uppers... I spilled an oily substance on them, so that is pretty much unfixable.

    I didn't notice because I didn't compare them before.

It's not heavier brogueing, it's that the seam next to the laces is pinked. And the brogueing is continued along the top of the throat, of course, but that pinking line next to the laces really does make quite a difference in how it looks.

All the rest of the brogueing looks identical, but the shape of the 2.0 seems to put the seams closer together, as well. Again, a really small thing, but looking at it side by side it does make 2.0 a little more busy to the eye.

Honestly, I like the 2.0 better. But maybe that's just because I expect pinking and lots of brogue on a fancy wingtip. That said, I would very happily own either, were they identical in fit. They're both pretty close to a classic style.

Nice. Mine are on their way. Couldn't pass them for $57.

Ha! I thought of the "filthy barn weasels" while writing my post.

@middlepP , do you find the Clark Street fits similar to other 108 lasted shoes in calf leather? I really like the tans, but I am afraid that the toebox is going to be too tight.

Loafer hunt update. Went into the AE store here in SLC after work today. Tried on the Lake Bluff walnut (pretty freaking sweet, the website picture just doesn't do it justice) along side the Lake Forrest (also beautiful). Those fit pretty close to perfect with an 8.5d. Tried on the Cavanaugh and it just isn't for my foot. 8.5 choked it to death, 9 was slightly roomier but heel slippage along with a slight pinch on the vamp, no where near the pinch as the 8.5 though. It's possible 8.5e would fit but they didn't have one in the store. Shame too because the oxblood color is simply phenomenal on that loafer (side note, it looks phenomenal in the Lake Forrest as well.) Walked out empty handed which was a miracle in itself.

Unrelated, I'm attempting to break in my Dalton's. Aside from wearing them around the house for a bit at a time, any inside tips? These are my favorite shoes I own and I haven't been able to wear them outside the house yet haha.

I kind of like the look of those, but I'd rather see a Kirkwood model. I'm not going to drop $300 on a Dominican boat shoe.
