Pulling out a pair of Manchester's today. These still remain a favorite of mine.
Me, too. God I love that shoe. I was late to the party, so I was only able to get a pair in Merlot from the shoebank after they'd been discontinued. I would have bought them in every color if I'd only known about AE six months earlier. Same for the Jermyn.
Does AE occasionally resurrect discontinued styles?
Sexiest shoe there is on this Tuesday. Warwick in oxblood
The Manchester was my first AE purchase. I'm now hooked on AE with 6 pairs and looking for the 7th.
Just snagged a pair of lightly used black Harrisons from the bay for $55 shipped in a 12 B. I wear a 12B on the 65 and it seems the 108. I guess we will see how these fit!
According to one of the SA I spoke to on the phone they (333 last) fit a little bit wider than the 65 and she suggested I try a D if I wear a E on the 65. I recently saw a pair of new ones on the bay for about $180 and I kinda wish I had bought them. $180 too steep for a new pair of Harrisons?
I have $849.75 on an AE Gift Card. Will someone kindly take them off my hands for $800 cash? Thanks!
IMO, no, considering they were $500 at retail. It might be an older shoe, but it's still an Indy line.
Occasionally. They're bringing back the Shaker Heights and Bayfield this year.
Jodox, Mora, rogue, strand, park avenue, Lexington were all discontinued and revived at one point.
Question for people who've had eyelets added to shoes... I'd like another set added to my Fairfaxs, below what's currently the first set of eyelets.
A well-regarded cobbler in town is more than happy to punch the eyelets. Should I be concerned with not having a rivet in there?
Some people's feet simply do not work with a Balmoral on the 65 last...including mine. I wear a 7.5 E on the 511, 97, and blutcher 65 lasts. I cannot for the life of me get a Balmoral on the 65 last to work - 7.5 E not even close, 7.5 EEE wobbles around although v-gap goes away. I even managed to find a rare 7.5 EE Strand to try on...no dice!
I just wanted to put in a shameless plug for my fit info article - welcome any feedback.

Looks like a different last and a larger toe cap too unless my eyes are playing tricks on me.
