The Paramus outlet is a nice store, and its in a pretty decent mall. How far is it in BCFs? LOL.

@ace13x That whole BCF thing was probably also part of the whole inventory replan thing. Hey, I'm sure it worked as well as they thought - last fall I saw at least 5 pairs of walnut Rutledge for 139 at a BCF that people happily tossed aside to find the chuck taylors. Don't know what you'd do, but id want all my old independence stuff sold off at ghetto BCF locations where people don't have the slightest clue what they are.

I grabbed the Ridge Ave belt on clearance.
I like it, and thought that I missed out on it when none were available on-line. But it showed up again, with a lot more size availability. I didn't want to miss out again, and bought one as fast as I could.
Here it is with my Bellevues.

I just got my First Avenues back from Recrafting, where they were supposed to have installed a heel plug to cover the rear interior seam, and stretch out the instep of the right boot. It appears they did not do either of these things.

I'll give a couple more wears, but if they don't get any more comfortable, I'm done with them. Really disappointed.

Was cleaning my closet today and decided it was a good opportunity to take a family portrait of my young, but growing collection.

Crazy to think how far I've come from my Cole Haan Steen copy cats (top right).

    Happy Saturday, Gents!

Is that Cole Haan's grave in the background?

My house backs up to a small, historic cemetery.

FWIW (maybe not much), dabondo's photography is usually pretty terrible.

Lol, I was just talking about this in PM's with another member earlier this week. His photos really are terrible. Make everything look really bulbous in the front.

I like to think it keeps the casual bidder from taking interest in shoes that I happen to know for a fact look much nicer in real life.

I've gotten some great deals from him, including a beautiful pair of Cornwallis and a Ralph Lauren/AE Sanderson with combo/tap sole.
