Ok, so for those that remember, I thought I was an 11 D and picked up several pairs of shoes in that size only to realize it wasn't correct. So anyway, one of those 11 Ds is a pair of chili Bradleys that only have 4 eyelets (style 5851) and I liked that version of the NST so much that I ordered another used pair from ebay in the same style / color to replace the ones I'm going to sell. The new shoes are style 2661 and have 5 eyelets.

I have no idea what the difference is and I guess it really doesn't matter, just trying to understand if one is an older version of the shoe? Any insight would be appreciated.

Fix the wheel bearings ASAP! Otherwise you run the risk that all these barn weasels will be buying your shoes from your estate sale. :)

You are officially a chukka junkie in my books.

And how can I trust people like you and others from this forum that tell me having more 5 wingtips is crazy? Astonishing!

I'm trying to decide between First Ave Boots in Country Brown Grain with dainite sole vs. the Brown calf with V-tread sole. Any opinions?

I have a Gobi and reallllly want the Alden unlined and would not say no to a pair of shells.

I don't own any LWBs (I don't really care for the chunky look), but might have a pair of McGregors come my way if my dad doesn't a pair of walnut 2nd's that he picked up for my brothers wedding. For shortwings I have a pair of burgundy Meermin linea mistreaos that I picked up on a trip to Madrid and bourbon McAllisters.

A bit late to this party, but, I also wear a 15d and enjoy the fitment of the 1 last (and the 78, 234, 678 and 201), have worn all three 511 items within the last 10 days.

My McGregors + Park Aves are just not a great fit...likely will find their way to eBay during a fitment purge. Unless you'd like a very slightly used pair of McGregors, in Boubon, 15d with a toppy PM me if interested.

In our size, if the 1 last fits you well, likely the 65 won't.

Not that this is a competition, or even something to be proud of, but: [IMG]

AE Cambridge Burg shell short-wing oxford
AE Jefferson Dark brown calf "
    AE Neumok Snuff suede "
AE Heritage (MTO) walnut & bone "
    Florsheim Imperial #8 shell LWB
    RLxAE Sanderson dark brown LWB
    Carmina (Detroit) cognac shell LWB
    AE Macneil Walnut grain LWB

Nine wing-tips would suggest a problem. But 8, that's merely being prepared.

I'm starting to get an itch for an Ovblood loafer. I'm sorry if this has been discussed ad nauseum, but could someone offer some insight into the differences between the Cavanaugh, Lake Forest, and Randolph, and any benefits of one over the others? Which would be the most suitable for sockless with shorts? Would the Randolph be considered more or less formal since the strap goes all the way down? Thanks.
