The Freiburg just popped up on the bank in what I believe to be my size. Does anyone know how close the fit is to the Rogue?

I can compare it to the Warwick. I find the Freiburg to fit similarly, with the same tightness across the instep I get from the Warwick (higher cone, my ass), so it doesn't have as much extra room as you'd expect from a full boot, fits more like a chukka/blucher.

Have to say, I love mine in tan. Not much of a chukka fan (although Peppercorn is swaying me), and the fourth eyelet makes the Freiburg far more appealing to me.

@AndyMiddles Have the Freiburg on right now. 201 bluchers in my 65 size are very large for me, overly large. I have a high arch and with the higher cone I don't feel anything at the vamp. The rogue was too big. The only reason I can do the Freiburg is because the back extends further up (being a chukka) so with heavy socks, laces really tight, I am held in (heel fit). If the rogue fits you, don't hesitate on these.

Merlot Sanfords for a throwback Friday. I'm unsure if AE named them after Fred or Lamont.

I'm working from home today, and the squeaking keeps scaring my cat. I read in previous posts that using conditioner/cleaner on the tongue can help with the squeaking; hope that's true.

Fred, I'm sure. I wonder what other unfortunate associations people come up with for AE names. The Daltons always make me think of Roadhouse.

    Lamont had his own model.

They look like green shell MacNeils (MTO'd during last year's trunk show).

Solution verified. Just applied two drops of conditioner/cleaner with a rag to the tongues and the leather that contacts them and squeaking is gone.

Dark chili PAs showed up today that were the replacements for my mis-sized bourbon pair. The shade on these shoes is incredible.

Under this lighting I'm afraid these are far from a match. Not only is the shade different but I don't see the exotic leather as being even remotely in the same family as the brogue stylistically. The bourbon strand is an awesome shoe, I wish I had gotten a pair. Just noticing, it looks like you have some slight tiger striping on the vamp, which does not look bad in my opinion.
I too, am (obviously) a fan of the brown Norwich. I returned like three pairs of them in disappointment after a horrible fitting experience. The suede Strand is an underrated casual option.
