Getting measured to make sure you get the right size in a standard last is far from getting bespoke shoes made. You've been here long enough....

Thus the rolleyes. I know the diff, just have convinced myself they are. Just like the RLPL Stantons...

Good idea. Although, a pic of each shoe in each color would be very ambitious, particularly given the fact that they have so many angles for each shoe. But maybe it could be done digitally.

Wot no boots! I mean the quality stuff. It's C&J and EG for me, I'm afraid. The "Culford" looks nice, but in my opinion there's a gulf in quality between it and the C&J "Coniston" (I've owned both). The leather was grim and after light rain large water patches appeared in the upper near the welt. I was left with salt marks and faded patches where the colour had washed out. A one-off, perhaps? I don't know, I just feel on safer ground with other makers. That and you can't try them on in a shop.

I'll be at the trunk show at Leffot on Sunday. Apparently they have some new stuff to unveil. I won't take pictures.

I believe it is all day Sunday and Monday. I may not make it until Monday as I just moved into a new condo and I am going to be painting Sunday. We'll see.

Couple of questions

1. Is the Premier range gone for good ? Is is the end of the road for the Havant, Cranford, Stowe etc.

2. Anyone try the Exclusive line which is priced quite similar to the CJ handgrade. Is so how does it compare quality wise to the CJ handgrades. Right now CH handgrades are working out cheaper than AS Exclusive as worldwide shipping is included with CJ while AS will charge for shipping though the AS from Pediwear had worldwide shipping included in the price.

Havant is from the even cheaper collection "Classic Collection", which was never on the AS website in the first place... neither on the new website, nor on the old one.
