very little, I just saw them at the Paris shop in April.

If they only have one retail location and no internet presence, it seems like AS is no more than a private label maker again. It's a shame b/c I was buying their dress shoes exclusively for several years. I have five pairs. That said, in the past year and a half, since they stopped production of both on Exclusive and Country, I've bought one pair of EG and four pairs of Alden - mostly shell cordovan and a work boot, so they weren't really direct competitors in that market anyway.

here is a pic of the new AS24 line which replaced the exclusive range. its very similar but as you can see the rubber that they put in the bottom of the heel is a different configuration

looking identical to the line that both Bowen and Medallion have been selling

Been wearing these Ramsey's in whiskey shell cordovan all week. Fit is surprisingly better than my suede pair. No need for an insole. Could be because shell doesn't stretch as much.

Lately I've been considering these boots because they seem like good value, but i was put off by the dark burnishing on the toes. I hate that. Yours seem to have normal coloured toes for some reason, and i have seen different pics with and without burnishing. Can you post a picture in different lighting?

It’s about time they had a decent site.

Good to see they’re still going strong

new alfred sargent site is live, no ecommerce but looks like they are allowing orders if you manually email them https://www.alfredsargent.co.uk

Glad to see the new site. Interesting that they compare the new AS line with the Exclusive line under the lasts link. The new collection is only on the AS24 last. That's surprising considering most makers use different lasts for oxfords and slip ons, and sometimes more for bluchers/monks, although sometimes only the slip ons are on specific lasts.

I'm especially glad to see the repairs information. Seems very reasonable.

I hope there will be more to their country selection. So far it doesn't look very country.
