Really glad you like them.
Foster & Son
The other boots that I have are the Alfred Sargent Lombards in dark marron and black. These are on the generous fitting 7WK last. I had to drop 1/2 size from my normal shoe size of UK 8. However on the 87 last I have the Hannover and Holburn. These are on my normal shoe size UK 8. Comparing these two lasts the there is slightly less room in the toe box and heel areas on the 87 last allowing for a more snug fit (but not tight). Hence the sleeker look on the 87 last compared to 7WK.
Hope this helps but you should be ok with your normal shoe size unless you have pretty wide feet. I wore the Cambridge for the first time yesterday and think it's a great boot! The leather is very soft indeed.
Exactly the answer I wanted. Thank you!
I would be very interested in a Jodhpur but I'm afraid I would need a wide fitting. Perhaps if you do a second run..
Would you want a 61/2 or 7 in a G fitting on the 48 last? When we re-order we may well be able to include this in.
I could be very interested depending on how they come out and timing etc. I'll send PM!
Last 87 is a fairly roomy last. I wear UK7.5F in this compared to size 8 in AS dress shoe lasts. Also 8 in C&J 337, Carmina Rain and Oscar to mention some other makers.

Very nice. A man cannot live by black cap toes alone.
haha, I am just finding other shoes to buy.
Glad you like them and the colour will continue to get richer with use.
Cheers Julian, thank you for the advice on sizing of insoles and great service and products.
