How does the 87 last compared to Carmina Rain Last? I have never tried Alfred Sargent before, considering getting a pair of 87 last boots

Can't give you a comparison to the Rain but I can say the 87 is generous. My Cambridge boots have plenty of wiggle room. I went 1/2 size up to add space for winter socks and they are spot on.

Ive noted these are sold as a F fitting which is their standard (same as E on other makers), but I feel these are really a true F, and hence you can lace them up fully. Really depends how it fits on your widest part of the foot. For me this was an F deceptfully marketed as an E, but is a real F....

Opps, almost quoted myself...please delete

I have both lasts. 87 is a little wider. Toe area feels a bit more open, whereas the rain last tapers. I take the same size in both. No way I could size up or down in either.

Does 87 last runs short compared to Rain last? Someone told me the 87 Cambridge is shorter in term of length.

My 87 last Bexhill chukkas feel rommier all around than my Rain bluchers in the same size (8UK). I find Rain to actually feel shorter and tighter around the top (top of toe joins and instep).

Just in today and very comfortable, more pictures once the sun comes up tomorrow but here you go.
Herricks on the 109 last. Must be generous as my wide feet have sufficient space and won't need stretching for once.
A lovely pair of shoes and thanks to Pediwear for getting them to me quickly!

OK, a few shots of the AS Herrick in pinner suede.
My first on the elegant almond shaped 109 last which appears to be perfect fit for me out of the box.

These are a size 9US in Sid Mashburn size. As I learned recently on my own SMxAS chelseas, this translates to a 8.5UK, so you may need to size down one half

Wouldn't you think it is 9uk?
Does AS label UK and US shoes differently?
Does DX stand for narrow last?
Outside width and length is same as my 10d AE Liverpool and 9uk pimlico a
