You have purchased a very handsome pair of shoes, which you will enjoy wearing for many, many years to come. With the most seasoned pair of my shells being 25+ years old and the newest purchased just two years ago, I have yet to wear a pair out!

I have to admit the two models posted by the OP (another thread showed a pair of bluchers he wanted to get) might get me to take a second look at Aldens.
On the other his jeans might turn me off casual day for the rest of my career.
