On sale here is a beautiful pair of near-mint Alden wingtip boots, in burnished tan calfskin, with commando rubber soles - that were custom-crafted especially for J. Gilbert Footwear (of Seattle, Washington).

Have been cycling through several brands of high-quality boot pairs this past year (in search of what's right for me comfort and aesthetics -wise), and have decided that I prefer the lighter weight chukka and chelsea models over the more heavy / complicated lace-ups released by Alden and Wolverine.

The specific pair that I am selling here have only been worn outside once for a couple of hours - with no visible scuffs to either the uppers or the soles. Very minor signs of wear (i.e. creases) are apparent however, with some uneven color marks to the boot backsides as well.

Sizing for this boot is 10.5D on Alden's Barrie Last, which means they will properly fit a size 11D foot.

With a sale price of $350.00, you are getting a near-mint pair of boots at an almost 40% discount to what they currently retail for directly via J. Gilbert Footwear (i.e. $525.00 retail price + $25.00 shipping & handling fee = $550.00).

My shoe closet is full, and I want to unload these to informed buyers relatively quickly, without the hassle of returns. So any transaction would be final sale. This specific pair of boots is also cross-listed on Ebay at a slightly higher price as well.

Woodlore Cedar Shoe trees are included as part of the purchase price.

Ughhh, these are gorgeous! I fear that they will be a bit too wide for my foot (11B). Good luck with the sale!

Yes . . . sorry . . . I think a B-width would be a bit to narrow for this shoe :- (

Good luck with your own Alden boot search, however.
