I am selling a pair of Alden Whiskey cordovan "Indy" boots in 10D. They were purchased at the beginning of the year from the Alden Store in Washington, D.C. This boot was part of a "Made to Order" run organized by styleforum members. The shoe is on the Trubalance Last, has a double waterlock sole with a Footbalance rubber heel, and has the speedhook lacing system. This is a rare and unique pair of whiskey indys. I am selling because I in situations where I wanted to wear this shoe, I always wore my whiskey chukkas instead (I believe the chukkas fit my style a bit more). That said, these are excellent shoes that someone else should take advantage of.
The Trubalance last is one of Alden's bigger lasts. Typically, people size down at least one half size from their measured shoe size (if you normally wear 10.5, this size 10 shoe will fit). The trubalance last is a bulky last, but the last goes well with this style of boot.
I am listing these shoes at $575 - they were purchased for over $700 new, and the shoe has been worn under 5 times. It has been cared for with the "Mac Method" (wiping with a damp cloth, followed by brushing). Shipping in the US is included in the price. Styleforum members get a first crack at these shoes - they will be posted to ebay on Saturday morning, and I expect them to go fast when they re posted there.
