A classic Alden boot in tan calf with the hard-to-find commando sole. These are great and comfortable boots!

~20 wears. Condition is mixed. The bad news is there is a small ding on toe of the right shoe. It is small, and I've been burnishing it with the back of a spoon to keep it flat and less noticeable, but it is there. There are some water marks from a recent trip with rain, but pretty confident these will come out with a good polish/wax. The inside panel on the left shoe is a little strange - darker than the rest of the shoe, but it is one of those things that takes away more when you're staring at the shoes than when wearing them.

The good news is they look good while you're wearing them and could be improved by someone skilled with polish/wax. They've broken in nicely - they feel outstanding walking around, and the patina overall looks good to me. The commando sole version is hard to find in this size. I have really enjoyed them, but have a chance to grab something.

The more I continue to wear them, the more I love them. I'm taking them off the market.
