    Hi guys:

I bought my first pair of Aldens' in Shell Cordovan - long-wing boots - commando sole

While I did get spare shoelaces, the original ones crapped out in exactly three wears.
When I pay $700+ for a pair of boots, I expect the bloody shoe laces to last a few years, and still for
them to be able to strangle a human being (think Luca Brasi)

Am I doing something wrong, or do the OEM shoelaces just suck big time?

Thanks for any/all responses. You may feel free to call/t/ext my cell too (drop me a note, and I will send them
    to you!).

    Sincerely,
    Bapcha
