For sale a is a nice pair of Alden PTBs - model 9432S size 7D which has a lug sole on the barrie last and I think the brown aniline pull-up leather (Based on the "S" in the model number at www.aldenshoes.com). They have that great rugged and mottled patina. Fantastic all weather shoes.
If you want to try out the Barrie last without spending a ton of money here is your chance.
I purchased these from a fellow who was selling of many of his Aldens as I wanted to try the Barrie last. I'm finished with these now (no barrie last for me) and I thought I would let these go. Condition is nice -- worn -- but lots and lots of life left. Also they can be recrafted so you have a shoe that will give you a lot of service.
Price includes shipping in CONUS. Shoe trees not included.
