Does anyone have experience purchasing irregulars from Alden-of-Carmel. As for reviews, I have only heard nothing but good things about the store but that was from regular stock purchases. Since there are no pictures of the irregulars I am a bit skeptical, particularly because there are no returns.

Any experiences would be appreciated.

I bought a pair of whiskey longwings from AoC about three years ago. They were considered irregulars because of inconsistent coloring on one shoe; however, after receiving them I couldn't determine which shoe deemed the pair irregular. The shoes looked good then, and even better now with age.

I thought only the Shoe Mart was allowed to sell Alden seconds/irregulars?

And how would you go about purchasing irregulars from AoC? I can't seem to find any information on their website. Do you have to e-mail them?

Adam at AoC mentioned it to me when I asked him about whiskey. At that time whiskey was a bit rare. Now I think he has a link on the website for irregulars.

My son bought a pair of Alden of Carmel shoes from the Alden Of Carmel store.
