With respect to the mixed media wingtip boot, any interest in maybe a reverse chamois/scotch grain mashup? That might be really cool, perfect for foul weather. And cause we aren't using a rare shell color, hopefully it comes in time for the winter. Any takers?

Right now, I would only be interested in something similar to LS Jumper boots (perforated cap-toe on trubalance last) except in ravello shell and with commando soles.

I'd be up for that assuming it's not on the Barrie. I'd also be up for a Cigar LW if it's not on the Barrie.

Actually, I just saw Mike posted about #4. This would be a great make up in #4!

Color #4 LWB on the Barrie with a reverse welt on a double waterlock sole with the antique edgetrim. I'm in for that and I don't care how long the wait is.

This would appeal for sure. Esp. w/ commando sole. Personally would prefer a non-Plaza last, but could be swayed.

I actually like this a lot, and depending on the traction/final make-up of the mixed-media wingtip, I'd would for sure consider this.

I like Leydon most as a LWB last. Tremont looks nice too.

Lakota House in Japan did these #4 makeups for their 10th anniversary.

I'm up for just about anything in #4, I don't have anything in that color other than the #4/black saddle blucher. How about the Epaulet Brixton in #4 shell?

For the mixed media boot, I'd be up for different textures and shades of leather, but I wouldn't want anything with suede or chamois.

That sounds dope. Would love to know if we expand the pattern to more than 3 pieces. As the pattern stands, I'd use the chamois as the buffer btw the upper and toe of the boot

We should get our act together, sounds like we got 100 cooks in the kitchen right now.

    #4 Tanker
    Scotch Grain Calf Tanker
#4 LWB seem to be the popular choices here

#4 Brixton boot is bad ass as well.

As far as lasts are concerned, I have the Atom on the Tremont last in #4 from Leffot, and I have to say, its a GREAT shape. It carries the heft of the Barrie but with a more chiseled look. The only issue I see, is that many don't know the fit exactly. Leffot suggested to get the same size as your Barrie, but I went up half a size and it works great.

Lets get this done...Should I start a poal?

Cannot get behind any NST/Tanker type design with stitching on the toe. Let's not have multiple options with that feature?

It's true. Every one of the options is on a wide heeled last too :brick:
