1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Shoes on the Truflare last have always looked looked to me like they have bunions themselves. Good to know that I was not far off.

That's weird. I didn't get an email. Did anyone else receive this?

I called them - they are having issues with gmail account addresses and their system in general. If you call them, they can manually send you one...

Please add me to the list.
Ronzo in Lawrence Kansas, where there is no shoe selection at all. Internet is the only option.

Can anyone comment on the fit between the Modified last and the Truebalance last? Do you take the same size in each?

I think the seller should be a little more upfront about the fact that these are Irregulars - with the dreaded "R" Stamp on the bottom. Just my opinion....

I recently picked up a pair of PCT Brown from Moulded. Ended up having to return the Shell #8 V Tips to the Alden Shop - just couldn't get the right fit in shell (they're a touch bigger in shell).

Tried on a few 9.5EEE at Moulded - they all felt bigger than normal, except for the Brown PCTs - so I bought em. Got home and realized that they were a 9EEE in a 9.5EEE box - a problem not caught by Alden on shipment. They fit so I kept them for sure but not sure what happened here. I don't think my foot size has changed but it's possible.

I'm wondering if something has changed in the way Alden lasts these shoes.

The eBay seller is also an active SF member so perhaps he will chime in.

Umm, did he just change the listing? He clearly states they are irregular and states what he believes constitutes the flaw, with pictures to boot (pun intended) .

The more burning question is, how would it affect normal sock wear?
