Alden LHS: Why isn't it available in brown calfskin?

Does anyone know if Alden makes the LHS in brown calfskin? I know there is a tan/british tan color, as well as black, burgundy, and mahogany.

If not, why? No demand for brown penny loafers under $400? It seems it's hard to find even Bass Weejun's in that color as well.

probably because all of the demand for brown disappears when you provide mahogany and/or burgundy. if you've got those two, why do you need brown?

Because I want them in brown, not black or burgundy.

I will probably have to settle for black though.

It comes in a few other colors like Cigar, but are hard to come by.
