For your consideration is a pair of Alden Black Shell Cordovan Plain Toe Boots made Leather Soul Hawaii.

These came with black welt and were converted to antique flat welt and Dainite style soles by Dr. Sole. The conversion was also hand welted, which is a time consuming process.

As you may be aware, Alden refused to do antique welts with black shell boots starting 4-5 years ago. These were meant to mimic another Leather Soul Model, the Pitt Boot which are no longer available:
