Did you get the Leydon or Barrie last, C?

I have 2 pairs of those (sand and snuff) in the Leydon and they're great.

Leydon, N. They'll probably arrive tomorrow or day after tomorrow. Good to hear that you like them.

Can you tell from the code on the inside which last they are on?

Has anyone experience with how much the alden unlined chukkas will widen? I have the right size in terms of length and size, but to be honest they feel too tight!
I tried them on in a store and they seemed to fit good so I ordered them on the web (since the store did no longer have the snuff color). Now that they arrived the feel very tight: too tight in my eyes. Even though I love their looks and feel, I have doubts about their fit, since I already have a high instep and the aldens are rather made flat...
Anyone with similar experiences has an opinion on this?

The leather is really soft, so they will probably form after your feet. The downside is that you might see the outline of your toes...

Did you get a D or an E width sizing? Makes all the difference....

And the last as well, probably, Trini? Mine are on the Leydon last.

Got the Leydon E...hmm. Can a decent shoemaker widen them, or is this hopeless in the case of these suede chukkas?

How long have you had them? Where do they feel too narrow? The suede will stretch by wearing them, especially this supple, unlined suede.

They are brand new to be honest. But trying them on an walking around in them might make it impossible to excahnge/see them. I will try them on again and decide from there. Usually however I don't like the "they'll fit better in after a couple of wears", since that never really worked out for me..

I understand. I wouldn't have them widened.

is the difference between the Leydon and Plaza lasts for this model the shape of the toe; rounded (Leydon) vs a little tappered? If I wear 6.5 on Barrie, is 7D the proper size? Does the leather really stretch that it will require you to size down .5 to accommodate for that? Thanks in advance.....
