Alden fall preview event at J. Gilbert Footwear in Seattle, Oct. 11

Just to let the Seattle locals know, J. Gilbert Footwear will be hosting a fall preview event with Alden on Oct. 11. They'll be showing some new custom makeups that they'll have available for the season, and Nate from Alden will be visiting.

They're located on the same block as Gian DeCaro.

Some new styles that they already have in:
* Flex welt chukka boots in brown calf
* Flex welt wingtip boots in brown calf
* Flex welt NST boots in black calf

Is anyone planning on attending? I'll probably stop by in the afternoon/evening.

The NST boot says black but it sure looks like a dark burgundy/purple to me

I've seen them in person and they're definitely black. They're just under some weird fluorescent lighting in their store.

Bump for a reminder. I also noticed that Alden of Carmel has put up some new six eyelet chukka boots which should be good for the stormy weather that we're going to be getting soon.
