These don't need much of an introduction; they are well documented. Amazing boots that I thought I'd be keeping a lifetime, but now must sell reluctantly due to unfortunate circumstances.
Please see photos. The boots are in great shape and only will get better with wear and age. I like them better than when I got them new. I am almost positive that this is the Trubalance last. A word on sizing: they run at least 1/2 size large. In my case, they run almost a size large. I wear a 9/9.5 in most shoes and these fit great.
They are available for pre-order via Context with a shipment in May. As you know, they tend to sell out quickly.
The boots will be packaged carefully and safely and will include the original Alden shoe bags (as pictured). Shipment will include tracking. Needless to say, you will not be disappointed.
These retail for $550. Asking $425>$400 shipped in the lower 48. International customers please contact me for postage rates.
From Context Clothing:
Alden Shoe Company began manufacturing gentleman's footwear in 1884 and today represents the finest in authentic American hand-craftsmanship. The Roy Boot is made on the Trubalance last and is cut and sewn of Chromexcel (pull-up) leather processed by Chicago's Horween Leather Company, established in 1905. This Chromexcel has a deep dark brown color with subtle hints of burgundy and tan that appear with bend and use. Alden's plantation crepe sole has gained popularity for its comfort and appearance. The leather insole is made of flexible leather of pure vegetable tan. Unsurpassed for breathable comfort and long wear, it assumes over time the contours of your foot shape giving a truly custom quality to the fit.
