Brooks Brothers Unlined Penny Loafers in Shell Cordovan leather, aka Alden LHS Leisure Hand Sewn Moccasins. Color #8 (burgundy/oxblood). Goodyear welted.

This is the special unlined version Alden makes for Brooks, so these loafers are perfect for sockless summer wear as well as with dress socks. Pre-owned and well taken care of, as you can see from the photos. Always kept stored with shoe trees and brushed after each wearing to keep the shell cordovan shiny.

what's the last? run one half size bigger?

Sorry I'm not sure of the last, but my humble measurements indicate...

Heel to Toe (measured on sole) = 12 inches
Widest part of footbed (measured on sole) = Just over 4 inches
Most narrow part of footbed (measured on sole) = 2.75 inches

Some places online tell me this last runs a 1/2 size large. Not sure if that helps you. They were a gift and I had hoped my 8.5D size foot would fit with an insert, but sadly no. Besides needing a good shine, they are in great shape. Thanks for the question.

These are on they Van last. I would say 1/2 size long, with a notoriously low instep.
