For Sale is my Alden Plain Toe Boot in Black Shell Cordovan. Size 8D, Modified Last. $430 shipped. Mode 4562H, this is made for a shop in Japan. Got them as seconds from The Shoe Mart. Only thing I found is a small nick in the leather on the inside of the left boot. I love them, just have too many black boots right now to justify keeping them. Only wore them about 3 or 4 times, so in amazing condition.

Hey, curious how does the modified last compare to other Alden lasts? I wear a 8D in trubalance and 8.5D in barrie. Would this fit me?

Thanks for the question. So modified is also a generous last. And most people suggest sizing half down just like Barrie and Truebalance. This 8D modified is slightly large on me as I could probably go to a 7.5D with it but I have a 8D Barrie which is also a little big on me. So yes I believe this could fit you well, since you have slightly larger feet than me but all feet are different. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions!
