Hi, i’m about to buy pair of Longwing Blucher from Alden(online store) for the first time, i’m confused about the size.
I'm wearing size. 6.5EE in Allen Edmonds Strand Cap-Toe oxford in 65 Last, and size 7D in Patton Cap-Toe Boot in 1757 Last.
What should i chose in Alden Cordovan Chukka Boot? Alden Cordovan Long Wing Blucher?

Thank you in advance

The Barrie last is pretty generous. The CW is that you should size down a full size.

I have an Alden LWB in color #8 and it’s an 8.5 whereas in general my brannock size is 9.5.

I don’t know my size in Brannock, what your size in AE? To compare it, this will help.

not all AE fit the same. That’s the problem.

I have the Strand as well in 9.5d if that helps.

you should go to a shoe store and get your foot measured. Then you’ll know.

IMO this is not good advice.
Usual advice for Barrie is to size down 1/2 size in length from TTS, not a full size. When I went to an Alden store I was advised to size down in width from my usual US 8.5D to 8.5C. That being said, I have found 8D and 8.5C to fit me very similarly, and D width is much easier to find than C width. I would not recommend you go down a full size from the 65 last. If 7D fits well on the 1757 last, consider trying 6.5D on Barrie. However I recommend that you get fitted in person.

^ and this is exactly why it’s never a good idea to buy shoes online; too many variables.

I can only speak from my own experience. A half size down in the Barrie last still leaves me with a lot of room.

Thank you for your valuable advice, it’s really helpful, since i’m living in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates, it’s hard to find shop here to check the fit in person, so this all what i can do, just seek for advice. Thank you again & i really appreciate it.
