Alden auctions -- low starting bid

Anyone else think this is strange? Guy has a ton of NIB Alden shoes, starting at $59 or so. Zero feedback and donates 80 percent of the sale proceeds to charity.

He's using stock photos in almost every auction, too. At the very least someone interested should request pictures of the actual items. I'd steer clear of this guy.

wow, even the stock photo dont look like authentic aldens. however, it does seem legit in the way of the 'dior/st. laurent shoes from argentina' auctions were.
i think this is analogous, but either way, me too, i would definitely stay away if the seller is not the more communicable on your questions.

which one, the round toe boot with the white sole? it's one of alden's orthopedic shoes. i wouldn't get it, but the picture looks like it matches an authentic alden shoe - the 306 (Contoured Depth Inlay). no idea about the seller, though.

I have a pair of those boots with the light tan rubber sole. They're a real Alden model for sure.

I messaged the seller, he lives a few miles from me, was open to meeting in person if I won the auction, seems legit.
