alden af94 yes or no

i have been a a shoe shopping spree. alden af84 have, af60 on the way af99 on the way, was thinking as my last purchase the alden af94 from www.alden-of-carmel.com. what you say. i was thinking there a lighter brown no commando sole, to round out my collection, oh and if anyone has them please give me feedback. thanks as always. did not even know about alden or last before i joined.

It's a nice looking ankle boot however, I'm not a fan of the crepe sole. I have a pair of wingtips with a crepe sole, and enjoy them, but I didn't want that sole on a boot.

Don't like wingtip ankle boots, I prefer wingtip high boots intead. Also I don't like crepe soles.

I personally don't like wing tip boots high or low, but I have a plain toe cordovan crepe soled boot from Leather Soul... it is very very comfortable. I love it but alas I think they are sold out... they seem to blow through their Alden orders very quickly...

If you are looking for an ankle boot in that color, theshoemart currently has the walnut plain toe one on clearance (only 8.5 and 10D left) with a leather sole... And its on the plaza last.

The crepe soles on my longwings have worn well. The soles are very comfortable to wear and are excellent in bad weather. Enjoy your shoes.
