There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

just got my first pair of alden's af84. i am very pleased, comfy right out of the box, they look great with flat front pants, or jeans. i would not wear these with a suit, but i was looking for dressy casual, these fit the bill. i will be buying more in the future. i will post pics once i figure out how.

I have been thinking about picking up a pair of AF78's but now I hear all this great stuff about the AF84's. I would primarily be wearing them with raw denim.

What do you think about the two?

I like to shine my shoes so I would like something a little more flashy.

    HELP! [IMG]

Kicking myself for missing out on Robin's pair in B+S. So nice.

Silverback, against dark jeans, of course, the tan AF78 boots would stand out a lot more.

    Thanks!

Btw - to answer your question, the 84s would probably be more versatile but the 78s would look great with raw denim.

I'm probably going to pick up a pair myself when they get my size in stock.

HEH! I will probably end up with both as well. [IMG] EDIT: Do they make anything like this boot in Shell Cordovan?

The same boots on the barrie last are made in shell as well.

You should note that the LS boots don't have the commando sole while the AoC boots do.

These are so nice. I do not know if I like the commando sole or not...especially on shell.

Does anyone have the commando sole in shell?

    Yes.

I've got a pair of the Leather Soul plaza last boots in 11D in #8 (not cigar) that I'm probably going to sell. They just feel too tight across the top of my foot. I don't know if I'd need an 11E or if they'd work for a 10.5D. They're really nice and I'm bummed that I'm going to have to sell them.
