alden af60 need help

i am about to pull the trigger on a pair of alden af60 in plaza last. i own a pair of af84 on barrie last. i like my boots to be a little chunky, are the plaza last very sleek, chunky, or somewhere in between? thanks for all the help.

Compared to Barrie? very sleek.

If you want a clunkier boot, I would get the barrie or grant last. I think the plaza last has slimmer toe box and looks more elongated...

I agree this is true relative to the Barrie or Grant last, but in the grand scheme, the Plaza last still makes for a pretty substantial looking shoe. Nothing Alden makes looks slim or enlongated in an absolute sense.

Compared to the Italians, no. But then again, elongated doesn't really work on large feet.
