So here are some pics and tidbits of my trip/cruise.

Seattle: You all can see the SoCal GTG thread. But, all in all it seems like a decent city. Went to the cute little Barneys, Mario's and Ian. Stayed at Hotel 1000 and got really drunk with the boys.

I'm not sure what this island is just north of Seattle; but, I'd love to live on it.

Ketchican was the 1st stop on the boat. It's where I went ziplining.
Nothing really to write home about in terms of the city. Was one little cool area called Creek St.; but, aside from that it was a bunch of shady jewelry stores.

I find Alaska interesting--I'd like to visit the remotest town there as I have a thing for places that look like the end of the world.

No photos of the sordid dance parties on the cruise? Surely there were enough sweaty homosexuals to get SoCal on the dance floor.

Next up was a scenic cruise through Tracy Arm. I was somewhat disappointed because of the ice in the water we weren't able to go very far up and see where the big chunks of ice crack off the glaciers. That was the highlight of my trip in 2000.

After we left Tracy Arm we made our way to Juneau which has about 30,000 people and was a bit more evident in the fact that there were actually some bums/transient looking folks downtown.

I hear they have bat-sized mosquitoes in Alaska. Is this true?

I did this in 2000; but, I had a broken leg so that sucked.

Yes when we stopped at parts around the Mtn. Bike trail it was pretty bad.
