New to SF. Hello, all.

I just bought a very nice Alâra shirt at Macy's in Los Angeles. They make a 15-inch neck (as opposed to the usual indistinct USA offering of 15-15 1/2), so I was immediately impressed.

But I can't find any information about this (Turkish-made?) brand, which I had never heard of before this purchase.

The shirt seems to be of very good quality and fit, although a little short: it rides up on the edges of my trousers on the sides -- doubtless Turks are shorter!

If anyone can point me in the direction of an Alâra website, I would be very grateful.

I own a couple of the Alara slim fit.........great shirts for the money (I paid about $25). They have nice fabrics and the cut works quite well for me.

Bloomingdales carries Alara quite extensively......give them a shot.

Very nice indeed. Their slim fit has darts - which is hard to find in the US. It fits quite well.
Since I have a relatively thick neck compared to, I guess, the average person, to fit my neck well, the rest is too loose usually.

You can find the Alara Web site at: http://www.AlaraShirt.com . We now only sell our shirts online. The Web site went live in November of 2013.

The shirts are made by us in Turkey. We use fabrics made from Egyptian cotton in European mills. Our shirts are designed here in the U.S. and we are always open to input from our customers on how we can improve our shirts. We stand behind the quality of our shirts by offering free return shipping and a full refund if you want to return one of our shirts for any reason.

We have a small showroom in Manhattan at 214 West 39th St Suite 703. Our entire online collection is on display and you are welcome to stop by and see the quality of our shirts in person.

Kind Regards,
Phil
