Fellow Steezers,
I'm not sure if there would be an interest in these photos but for those of you who travel a lot you may find these helpful. The new Airbus A380 just finished visiting Dulles International Airport here in Washington, and it was glorious. This is the future of international air travel! Airport employees were allowed a close-up view of the airplane as it awaited its flight back to Frankfurt, so of course I went out to see it-

Great shots. But why there's an UPS logo on the plane, didn't they cancel all A380 order before the US publicity tour?

I really wish engineers would work on planes that can get to destinations faster and more fuel efficient rather than just making planes bigger. It's no more of an experience to be herded with 550 people rather than with 350.

Rothbart,
Yes, UPS did cancel. For some reason Airbus hasn't taken the sticker off the airplane yet.

Visionology,
I feel your pain mate

Fortunately Boeing is working on the new 787, a much smaller airplane designed to fly farther without fuel stops. I can't wait to see the first 787 roll of the line.
