air freshener for a beachalors appartment

i moved to a new appartment and i want a good smell in it. but alle the scented candle i saw at shopping-malls smells like public toilets or cheap whore-houses. so could you guys give me an advice what brand or what product i can use?

You need to check the candles at Bath & Body.

thanks so far. but i need something i can buy in germany too. it must not be a candle. a fragerence for rooms would be good too.
