since we don’t really have an nb thread

the v6 looks so much better than the v5, love that they brought back all the different layers typically found on older 990 and 99x models and gave it a hoka-esque sole, and that on foot shot really seals it

Eh, I feel mixed about v6. V3 and v4 definitely look better than v5 due to the cut outs and layering, but v6 with the hoka sole and new “N”, idk. Also, v5 is definitely the most comfortable shoe I’ve owned hands down, i’ve passed 3 pairs of hoka on to my dad (he wore through them in under a year and asked for NB after lol) cuz the marshmallowiness and exaggerated proportions just don’t do it for me. Hopefully the sole isn’t too much like hoka. No doubt it’ll sell like crazy though

Looks like you went TTS. Any heel slippage?

All my dress shoes are EU45 or UK11. Most my Nikes are US12.5. My NB 990v5s are US12.5. These ALD 550s are US13 (they didn’t offer 12.5). No heel slippage, and they are just long enough.

Everyone’s feet are different though.

How much space do you have in front? 12.5 also here but the 12 I got is tight in length.

@nsubrmnn looks great :cool:

Did you go TTS? I went tts and yours looks 15% more fitted than mine. I don't mind the looser fit but had no idea what i was shooting for since it's my first ALD piece.
