Managed to snag one through a friend in M vs. L. If it doesn't work out, will share here.

If you a S/M and are not feeling the Rico shirt, PM me. Either color is fine but prefer yellow one.

Feel like I’m taking crazy pills with the Timberland 3 eye sizing. I’m a us11 in most shoes. sometimes 11.5. I ordered 10 and 11 from porter. With the weird uk conversion I got shoes marked us10.5 and us11.5 —ok. Everyone said to size down (except porter, which says size up?? And why are they listing uk sizes anyway) but the 10.5s are a real squeeze and the 11.5s fit well—maybe a tad large.

I’m fine overall because the bigger pair fits, IMO. But my best fit probably woulda been a us11 Wtf.

also the eu conversion calls these a 45.5. I have never in my life had a 45.5 fit.

tldr shoe sizing is fucked up

also what’s up motherfuckers

I am surprised the ALD’s are sized differently from regular Timb 3 eyes. Or are they?

I wanted to order a pair but couldn’t figure out sizing because of the conflicting guidance on different sites. I always found regular Timbs to fit TTS (brannock), but had no idea on the ALDs.

It seems like a pretty straight brannock size to me, which is why I’m surprised ald’s site and mr porter both advised (differently!) on taking non brannock sizes. And Reddit seems full of people who sized down a half or full size and are happy? Ok

Fwiw a lot of Reddit seems to be guys who mainly wear sneakers so sizing down half or full might be ok. Don’t have the ALD versions but I went TTS brannock for the regular burgundy ones and I could’ve done half down

I’ve always sized down at least half for 3 eye lugs and did same for the ALD ones. A half size down from regular shoe size (full size down from Nike) is roomy enough for me to slip in and out without a shoe horn (which is how I like to wear this type of shoes). I could see another half size down being ideal for those who want a snug fit.

to be clear the ALD sizing is same as the regular Timb sizing
