My stupid ******* painter left a small container of wood stain on an edge in my garage, and as i go to take my bike out i nudge the container and it falls off the edge. It on got on the back bottom side of my left leg, not to mention all over my garage floor. It not that big really just some splatter, but it is noticeable. I've been wearing these hard for about 3 months. Should i wash or just leave them be. I already tried to blot out as much stain as i could with a wet paper towel but there is still quite a bit left. Help!

The title meant to say wood stain.

Does varnish come out of denim? I had a shirt that I got varnish on in wood shop like five years ago and it never washed out.

Its wood stain, but that is what i was wondering. It seems pretty water soluble as i blotted out most of them.

Varnish the entire jean for that expensive waxed look.

Kidding of course.

You can keep it there if it doesn't look bad as an artifact with a memory.

If it looks bad though, just wash them, nobody will know the difference between a 3 month fade and a 4 month fade anyway.

3 months is a fair fade, I'd just wash if I didn't like the varnish on them.

Don't wash, who cares, I spilled BBQ sauce all over my pants, i spotted a little bit, then just kept wearing, honestly, not even noticable after a week.
