I would love to buy some designer jeans but I have two problems: I don't like how low most of them (at least the boot cut ones) sit, and the price is a real turn-off.
Is there a way to give cheaper jeans that premium denim look? Levi's 517s are some of my favorite fitting jeans, but there are no good washes. I remember reading something once about using a pumice stone and blue dye or maybe even a denim wash house?
Alternately, is there a designer boot cut jean that is narrow through the leg, doesn't sit too low on the waist (maybe just below) and can be had for close to $100?
Thanks
